Terms of Use and Participation
1. Role of ORGAHELP
ORGAHELP exclusively provides the technical platform through which organizations and users can publish and find events, tasks, surveys, and listings and get in contact with each other. ORGAHELP does not organize or conduct these activities itself and does not become a contractual party to the persons or organizations involved.
Responsibility for the content, organization, implementation, and handling lies exclusively with the respective organization or user. ORGAHELP does not assume the role of organizer, client, employer, seller, buyer, or any comparable role.
2. Content Provided by Users and Organizations
Information relating to events, tasks, surveys, and listings is provided by the respective organizations or users. They are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the information they provide.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, ORGAHELP does not verify, in particular, the identity, reliability, qualifications, or suitability of the persons or organizations involved.
3. Events
The organizer of an event is exclusively the organization named on the respective event page. ORGAHELP merely provides the technical functionality for publishing events, registration, and communication and is neither the organizer nor a co-organizer.
4. Registration and Participation
Registration for an event is complete once it has been confirmed via ORGAHELP. For events with a waiting list, registration does not yet constitute a confirmed place. There is no general entitlement to participate.
5. Tasks and Voluntary Activities
Organizations may publish tasks via ORGAHELP that registered users can voluntarily take on.
ORGAHELP exclusively provides the technical platform for facilitating such activities. The acceptance and performance of a task takes place directly between the respective organization and the person taking on the task. In particular, ORGAHELP does not thereby become the client, employer, or contractual party.
The respective organization is responsible for describing the task clearly and for providing any necessary information, safety instructions, or requirements. The person carrying out the task is responsible for deciding whether they are able to accept and perform it.
This applies in particular to activities such as transportation, collections, deliveries, assembly or dismantling work, and other forms of practical assistance.
6. Listings – Requests and Offers
Users and organizations may publish requests and offers via ORGAHELP. ORGAHELP merely provides the technical platform for facilitating contact.
Agreements, handovers, services, or other arrangements are made exclusively between the users or organizations involved. ORGAHELP does not become a party to any such agreement and, in particular, does not provide any warranty or guarantee regarding offered or requested items or services, or their condition, suitability, or availability.
7. Surveys
Surveys are created and managed by the organization identified in the respective survey. ORGAHELP merely provides the technical functionality required to conduct the survey.
The respective organization is responsible for the content, questions, and purpose of the survey. Information regarding the processing of personal data is additionally governed by the applicable privacy information.
8. Participation Requirements
Participants and users are responsible for ensuring that they meet any personal or practical requirements specified for an event or task. The respective organization may define additional requirements.
9. Minors
Minors may only participate in events or tasks if this is permitted for the respective activity. The responsible organization may require the consent of a parent or legal guardian or that the minor be accompanied by an adult.
10. Accompanying Persons
Anyone registering accompanying persons for an event must ensure that those persons are aware of the registration and are familiar with the applicable terms of participation and event information.
11. Rules, Safety, and Conduct
Participants must follow the instructions and safety directions of the respective responsible organization. The organization may exclude individuals from an event or task if they disregard safety instructions, endanger others, or significantly disrupt the activity.
12. Cancellation of Participation or Withdrawal from a Task
Anyone who is unable to attend an event or carry out a task they have accepted should notify the respective organization as early as possible using the functions provided for this purpose.
13. Changes and Cancellations
The respective responsible organization may, in particular, change the start time, duration, meeting point, content, or schedule of an event or task, or cancel it entirely.
ORGAHELP cannot guarantee that a published event or task will take place, that a listing will remain available, or that any successful arrangement or match will result from use of the platform.
14. Communication via ORGAHELP
Information relating to events, tasks, surveys, or listings may be communicated via ORGAHELP or sent to the email address provided by the user. This includes, in particular, confirmations, changes, cancellations, and organizational information.
15. Photos and Videos
Using ORGAHELP or agreeing to these terms does not automatically constitute consent to photo or video recordings. If recordings are planned during an event or activity, the respective responsible organization is responsible for providing the required information and, where necessary, obtaining consent.
16. Responsibility and Liability
The respective organizations and users involved are exclusively responsible for organizing and conducting events and tasks, as well as for surveys, listings, and any agreements resulting from them.
ORGAHELP does not assume responsibility for the actual performance, quality, safety, or outcome of any activity or agreement facilitated through the platform.
ORGAHELP's statutory liability for its own breaches of duty remains unaffected.
17. Technical Availability
ORGAHELP endeavors to provide the platform reliably. However, continuous and uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
18. Prohibited Use
ORGAHELP may remove content or restrict or suspend user accounts if content or use of the platform violates applicable law, these terms, or the rights of other persons.
19. Additional Terms of Organizations
Organizations may specify additional information or conditions for individual events, tasks, surveys, or offers. Such conditions apply in addition to these terms.
